Why has child's card been declined at a cash machine?

Your child's card could be declined at a cash point for a number of reasons. Please check the following:

  • The PIN number they are trying to enter is correct. If they have entered an incorrect PIN more than 3 times the card could be blocked and you will need to contact Member Services on 0330 100 7676 to have the card unblocked.
  • They are not trying to withdraw more than £120 in a single transaction, or more than £120 in a day, or they have already withdrawn cash 3 times that day.
  • The card hasn't been disabled either by your or your child, you have enabled the goHenry card to be used at cash machines and your child's cash withdrawal limit is higher than the amount they are trying to withdraw. Limits and rules can be checked and amended on the 'Rules' page when you login to your goHenry account.
