Why can’t my child get their balance from a cash machine?

Unfortunately, the ATM network does not currently support the provision of a real-time balance for pre-paid cards. The balance available would only be the previous night’s balance and we want to ensure that the information we provide is completely up to date. To keep an eye on their balance, your children can login to their goHenry account either via the goHenry app or the website, the child’s balance will always show very clearly at the top of the screen as well as the balance they have available to spend that week.
