Financial Education teaching resources

Personal Financial Education is now recognised as an important part of the curriculum. Surveys of young people have found that the basic understanding of personal finance at this level isn't great and pupils can be confused. All schools want to make sure that their pupils develop a wide range of knowledge, skills and understanding of money and finance that enables them to prepare for the real world beyond the school gates. We aim to help them to understand the many different ways that money and finance is involved in their everyday lives and prepare them for the paths they take in life –whatever they are.
